A Designer Through and Through

Born and raised in southeast Michigan, I was excited to study UX design at the University of Michigan. Go Blue!

My career started at a custom software consulting agency. That role afforded me the opportunity to dive into the real world of design head first. By working on dozens of diverse projects in a relatively short amount of time, I gained experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing projects, and reacting to changing priorities. I got a feel for the product development life cycle, in all of its messy, iterative glory, and I loved it. 

Design is all around us and can be applied to just about anything. At its heart, it’s a mindset for being curious, solving problems, and creating delight- which makes it a perfect fit for someone like myself who loves to learn, create, and help people.
